You Have A Right to Be Here

As I embark on the release of my upcoming book, Breakthrough Sold Separately; I have been reading through my old journals. I began writing this book two years ago, and the journey has taught me so much about myself and my abilities. I want to share an excerpt from my journal with you in hopes that it will remind you that every dream seed that has been planted in your mind deserves to bloom.

I am writing this book to offer women hope, to reveal my own vulnerability in order to heal myself and others. I look around at the culture, and I know that many people are seeking a deeper connection. A connection to something spiritual; something that makes our souls sing. That's what I want. I want to see a strong, educated, Black woman talk about life, loss, abandonment, and deep-rooted family trauma. I want someone to speak on the mistakes that shaped the fabric of her life. I believe myself to be that person.

I believe the greatest gift is teaching. When we learn something of great value or something that has changed or transformed our lives, I believe it is our duty to teach and pass on that knowledge to others.

Today, was my second writers meeting for my book. So much came out today, and at one point, I felt fatigue and exhaustion. I had to be reminded that I am enough just the way I am, and I have a right to be here. Here meaning Earth, the gym, or any other place I inhabit. Having a right to be here does not mean everyone will like or accept me; it just means I need to accept myself.

I am open to my wholeness and the love that radiates through me. I have the right to be here because I have the strength of a good spirit and a kind heart. My giving and teaching are a requirement to fulfill my purpose and destiny.

May I be happy.
May I be safe.
May I be at ease.
May I be at peace.

You have chosen to come to planet Earth to do a great work and to fulfill your highest calling. The Creator has not made a mistake on you. You are divinely rich, and you have a right to be here. It’s time to make all of your dreams come true.  I pray your continued happiness, safety, and peace this week.

Love and Grace,

BH
